Introduction to Moving When you make a decision to move at a new house it must have there hundreds of questions that you want to have answers for.

1. When to move
When to move the first question the comes to mind will be: “when the best time in year to move so that the price will be the cheapest ? “
You should schedule your move to have at the same time that is most convenient to you and for your family .
Because of the seasonal nature of the moving industry (most of the moves take place in the summer month June thro August) you should remember that during those month it will be more difficult to find a good moving company, and the cost will probably be more expensive .
Those times include: A) The months of summer as many of families are on summer vacation and the children are out of school .
Even more the summer time is usually more suitable moving (not raining, highways are open all over the country , not mud at you door step, not cold out side for the movers so they complete your move faster) .
B) Beginning and end of each month – the first and last days of each month, due to all apartment leases running out are usually much busier, are very busy days for the moving industry.
If you can coordinate a mid month move with your landlord or leasing agent when moving in this could potentially could save you hundreds (200-400 USD) on a local move and thousands on a long distance move.
